The interaction between the obvious and the hidden is the common thread that runs through Aleardo Moretuzzo’s artistic work. It serves as a creative filter through which he perceives and interprets the world around him. ‘I am firmly convinced that our perception of reality consists of a multitude of layers that overlap, interlink and often conflict with each other,’ says Moretuzzo. His aim is to use these elements to create a new, multi-layered narrative that encourages the viewer to look beyond the surface and discover the hidden layers of reality.
