Damien Hirst is one of the most important contemporary artists, who has achieved international recognition with his paintings, sculptures and installations. Less well known, however, are the British artist’s drawings, which the Albertina Modern is now presenting in a museum for the first time. This exhibition offers a fascinating insight into Hirst’s creative processes, beginning with drawings and sketches made since the 1980s. These images, many of which were created in preparation for his ground-breaking works, are shown alongside a selection of related sculptures and paintings.
