stretch the lines is a tribute by the three artists – Birgit Schweiger, Katharina Rosenbichler and Martina Löscher – to the Jewish artist Lily Characterised by spontaneity and longing, Birgit Schweiger explores fanning out paths, apparent dead ends and continues them in filigree paper threads. Katharina Rosenbichler questions the value of cultural labour, cuts up papers and refers to precarious conditions, the decorative results of which are often used to adorn oneself. Prioritising relaxation and the desire for fantastically dreamy worlds. A difficult task to which Martina Löscher dedicates herself.
