‘Tracing Time’ presents the work of artists Gabriele Worgitzki and Albrecht Noack for the first time in Austria. The artist couple, who live in Brandenburg and Berlin, work with the media of photography, video, drawing and painting. Both artists manage to make their photographs look like dreamlike stagings, like backdrops of superimpositions. They allow the viewer to become not only an observer, but also a discoverer and mediator. In the combination and juxtaposition of the works, visitors first notice the similarities. The photographic works are fragmentary, exemplary, because they only present excerpts and allusions, and both exhibit series. ‘Tracing Time’ is dedicated exclusively to the photographic work.
