Galerie Z is celebrating the start of the new exhibition year with an exclusive drawing exhibition. In Peter Hauenschild, Andrea Romagna-Miessgang as gallery owner has chosen an artist who has dedicated himself to drawing with passionate intensity for decades. For the Austrian graphic and media artist, drawing is the central field of activity. In the current exhibition entitled ‘Islands in the Lake’, Peter Hauenschild is now showing drawings created between 1986 and the present day. In the exhibition, the artist succeeds once again in presenting drawing as a highly individualised art genre and an independent genre beyond preparatory sketching.
