Julia Lusser is a young artist. The exhibition Becoming documents Julia Lusser’s eventful journey – her search for orientation in the art world and her own artistic path. She explores the multi-layered emotions that go hand in hand with developing her own artistic identity – from shame and the feeling of not being enough to the constant development of a personal style. Her works reveal the transformative process in which self-doubt, insecurity and the question of one’s place in the art world come together. But Becoming is also an expression of growth and development: it shows the path of an artist facing her fears and finding her voice. The exhibition is a visual dialogue about the challenges and triumphs of the creative process, about searching, finding and constantly Becoming – an invitation to experience the personal and artistic path of development at close quarters.
