Jazz lovers will get their money’s worth in Brussels in February: four Austrian and various European musicians are collaborating for four concerts. The collaboration aims to unite different contemporary music cultures, highlight parallels, and create acceptance and curiosity for differences. The series opens with a concert on 5 February. Among others, the Austrian jazz musician Daniel Nösig, who has been the trumpet teacher at the Carinthian Conservatory since 2011, will perform. The second concert follows on 12 February with the Austrian pianist Georg Vögel, who has long been a household name on the Austrian jazz scene. The Austrian musician Sasa Mutic, known for his deep sound and broad musical knowledge, will perform at The Music Village on 19 February. The Carte Blanche series will conclude on 26 February with Austrian drummer Dusan Novakov, who will delight the audience with his extraordinary musical flair.
