‘Silence of the Many’ by the artist Alfred Lenz, who lives in Vienna and Studenzen/Styria, is created by combining all the different sounds, accumulated indistinguishably as murmuring, roaring, splashing, pattering, it is the white noise. No melody, sounds not filtered, not divided, not defined: Many! Everything, everything is possible, still chaos. Can you hear the silence? The centrifugal force has hurled you out of the centre. Concrete walls defend, and a second circle, a third, where there was water.
