The unifying element of the exhibition is the merging of the abstract with the figurative, the futuristic with the historical, urban architecture with rural nature. Thematically, the exhibition spans an arc from rural terrain to urban living space. The title of the exhibition describes the interplay of light and shadow, the visible and the invisible, and invites visitors to broaden their own horizons, break them open, re-centre and focus them. For this exhibition, Katharina Anna Loidl draws on her photographic collection, which she has amassed over the course of her numerous project trips. In addition to photographic series of works, the exhibition also presents print reproductions that expand the spectrum of photographic expression.
