In addition to the annual 5-day festival in summer and the Halloween event, the ALPINALE organises a special Christmas screening outside of the competition. The Christmas Short Film Magic features festive, funny and thought-provoking short films that capture the Christmas season in all its facets. Visitors can expect to see eight films from eight different countries over the festive period in December in their original language (with English subtitles). This event is organised as a charity event with all entry fees, tickets and other proceeds being donated to a local charity partner – the Hour of the Heart.
