The anniversary of Montforter Zwischentöne brings a broad spectrum of music, philosophy and dialogue to Feldkirch. Under the artistic direction of Hans-Joachim Gögl and Folkert Uhde, the festival is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a series of special events.
The focus is on a varied programme that offers a look back at the last few years and a preview of future projects.
One highlight is the ‘Ten Birthday Candles’ tour, which presents surprising installations and unusual concerts in unusual locations in Feldkirch’s historic city centre.
The Burial of the Common with philosopher Philipp Blom and the musical reading ‘The Wall’ with actress Martina Gedeck are also among the highlights of the programme. Other exciting formats such as the Temporary University or the children’s concerts ensure a comprehensive cultural programme for all age groups.
The programme concludes with the Advent concert in the Montforthaus, where rare instruments such as the nickel harp and the string piano can be heard.
