The exhibition is dedicated to the work of the Graz artist Günther Kirschner, who died in 2012. Together with Günter Waldorf, Siegfried Neuburg, Richard Winkler, Hannes Schwarz, Gerald Brettschuh and others, Kirschner was involved in art associations such as the ‘Junge Gruppe’, the Styrian Werkbund and the ‘Forum Stadtpark’. His painterly and graphic works were created in the free artistic and applied field; he was represented with works in numerous local and national exhibitions.
