In 2024, the Crossroads Festival once again invites you to engage with key developments of the present day. In addition to current challenges, the selection of exciting new documentary films highlights people, initiatives and movements that are committed to preserving our livelihoods and social achievements and want to enable a good life for all. Inspiring stories are told with impressive images that highlight opportunities for action and provide encouragement. Most of the films on show celebrate their Austrian or European premieres during the festival. Many have been honoured with various awards. Discussions following the screenings will provide an opportunity to talk to filmmakers and protagonists and discuss the topics covered by the films. Additional lectures, debates and workshops complete the programme.
