Wendelin Pressl’s exhibition is not primarily about the mirror that art holds up to society, but rather about the kind of reflection in which society scrutinizes, admires and observes itself. Selfies and social media, narcissistic glittering surfaces. Surveillance and consumption. Or the pretence of false facts. For example, that there is an alternative habitat somewhere. There is no planet B – now we have the salad.
