In its tenth edition, the Styrian Photo Biennial, a project of Kulturvermittlung Steiermark, presents a snapshot of photographic creation in Styria. 150 selected positions of photographic artists born between 1932 and 2009 enable a positioning within the diversity of schools of thought, approaches and technical realizations of this medium. From the documentation of changes in the cityscape, to the question of identity and self-presentation, references to a broad spectrum of current socio-political and cultural issues, to the use of AI, the thematic arc of the works ranges, drawing a polymorphous picture of the times.
