One city, 15 young people: Jews and Muslims. What happens when they meet? Is it inevitably about the Middle East conflict? About different beliefs? About the experience of being so-called minorities? The Wien Museum invited members of the communities to get to know each other and formulate their needs and wishes. One realization: the young people are above all young. They are interested in their place in the city, where they like to be, what they like to do. The meetings turned into workshops. The workshops became an exhibition project. It is about Karlsplatz as a public space and its appropriation. Photographer Ouriel Morgensztern accompanied the young people. The resulting photographic material became the basis for the exhibition.
