The Children’s Culture Week proves what Linz has to offer in terms of children’s culture and presents a colourful programme in various venues in Linz. On twelve autumn days, around 230 events and activities for culture-loving children are on the programme. From exhibitions to guided tours, theatre, cinema, dance and music performances, readings, picture book cinema, taster sessions and workshops, there are many different ways to experience culture. During the Children’s Culture Week, events for all age groups are offered at reduced admission – many programme items are even free of charge. Admission to the Ars Electronica Centre is free for children and young people up to the age of 14 and reduced admission for accompanying adults. Admission to the city and regional museums is also free for families (two adults and children up to the age of 18).
