Every autumn, the Jazz&TheCity festival transforms Salzburg’s old town into an interactive stage for contemporary musical diversity and improvisation with an international flair. Under the motto ‘This is us!’, jazz is the focus of the public festival, but with music unlimited, Jazz&TheCity makes it clear that various musical and artistic genres and acts will enrich this year’s programme. In addition to numerous fixed venues, there will also be surprising performances in many places in the centre of the unique atmosphere of the historic old town. The standard and diversity of the music will be kept high, with the energy and vibrancy of the internationally renowned live bands and artist formations as well as promising newcomers also arousing the curiosity of festival newcomers and, above all, Salzburgers of all generations.
