The young Graz-based artist Philipp Wilding deals with structures of all kinds, mostly with areas of tension of a personal and global nature. He works with different media and techniques: from knitting to screen printing and other graphic approaches. The series ‘VERSTRICKT, Soft Patterns of Masculinity’ explores the diversity of masculinity through knitted posters. It spans an arc from destructive patterns of masculinity, to the current self-image of young people aged between 13 and 16, to critical masculinity.
