Under the title Archaic Art, Salzburg artist Johanna Hartung presents her paintings together with pictures by the participants of the Art Experience San Daniele in May 2024. As an artist, Hartung began to find a means of expression in the therapeutic process. Art therapy was the beginning of a perpetual process of ‘having to paint’. From the inward turn, the pictures find their way outwards, via colours, hands, various materials, sculptures, action painting and thus open up to the viewer. It is an immersion in formlessness, emptiness, chaos, timelessness. The painting, the sculpture attempt to give form to the experienced, the unknowable. As a creativity trainer, she offers interested individuals and companies space for creative and sensual experiences in her action painting room.
