Climate change is being felt around the world: heatwaves, storms and floods are the consequences. In spring 2023 and 2024, the HDA therefore invited young architects from Europe to address the challenges posed by these extreme weather conditions. The aim was to use innovative ideas to look for ways to make cities, regions and buildings resilient to heavy rain, flooding and extreme heat using new construction methods. The ‘Bioclimatic Actions’ exhibition shows the results of the two workshops with young European architects, which were created as part of the HDA research laboratory funded by the EU Creative Programme.
