Hallstatt has been constantly present in the media in recent months – due to the never-ending stream of tourists, but the town and the region are characterized above all by its thousands of years of history. This is exactly where the exhibition comes in: it is the result of a multi-month co-operation project between the HTBLA Hallstatt and the OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH. In supervised workshops, an excursion to the museum depots and in class, eight students from the sculpture class explored archaeological finds from the Hallstatt culture from the museum’s collection and responded with their own artistic works, which also create impressive links to the present.
