‘Party’ is the motto of the anniversary edition of the renowned Graz music festival Arsonore, which will be hosting its tenth edition in 2024; once again, classics will be reinterpreted and some rarities will be performed in September.
‘In 2024, Arsonore will continue to live up to its already excellent international reputation as one of Austria’s most exciting and innovative festivals,’ promises Schirmer.
Audience favourites such as Mario Berger, Christian Bakanic, Petrit Ceku and Mnozil Brass are expected, as are new talents from Graz University of the Arts.
‘Let the Show Begin’ will open the festival at Schloss Eggenberg, featuring the Ensemble Wien-Berlin, soloists from the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, among others. And because anything goes at ARSONORE, one of the world’s best clowns (Circus Roncalli, Cirque du Soleil), audience favourite Anatoli Akerman, will burst into the Planetensaal during the concert.
