Waves Vienna, one of Europe’s leading showcase festivals, attracts around 15,000 music fans from all over the world to Vienna every year. Around 100 bands will bring Vienna’s belting venues to life, while a varied music conference takes place at the same time.
A music festival for explorers that brings together local and international acts; 100 up-and-coming talents from the fields of alternative, electronic, pop, rock and club music will perform on 10 stages around the Gürtel in Vienna. This year’s line-up includes Lukas Oscar (AT), Unflirt (UK), Mina Richman (DE), Laventure (FR), David Arcos (CO), Bo Milli (BE) and Bluai (BE).
During the day, the adjoining Waves Vienna music conference around Karlsplatz offers a diverse discourse and networking programme, including interviews, panels, discussions, keynotes, workshops, listening sessions and masterclasses on the most important topics in the music industry. Hundreds of national and international music experts, promoters, label operators, bookers and musicians will meet during the day to exchange ideas.
