With Eiskaltes Händchen, works by Hamburg-born Tammy Langhinrichs are presented in the salon of the Elektrohalle Rhomberg.
The social and personal connotations of clothing, which are carriers of body and gender concepts, are made spatially tangible in the artist’s textile sculptures. In lying, standing and leaning postures, the anthropomorphic figures confront the viewer just human enough to be approachable.
