www.mobilerpavillon23.at is a multimedia installation in a mini pavilion that was conceived and designed by Alexander Kada and curated by Astrid Kury for the Steiermark Schau/Showing Styria 2023. It represents a pioneering, biennial exhibition format by the Universalmuseum Joanneum for the province of Styria. In 2023, the Styria Show was dedicated to the ‘Diversity of Life’, represented in the mobile pavilion by the exhibition ‘Atmospheres – Art, Climate and Space Research’.
Counteracting the loss of biodiversity due to climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. The exhibition testifies to the power of art, research and collaboration in tackling these challenges and invites visitors on an immersive journey through the fields of atmospheric, climate and space research to raise awareness of the urgency of a sustainable approach to our environment.
The exhibition is presented in Slovenia by the Austrian Cultural Forum Ljubljana, the Universalmuseum Joanneum Graz, the DLUL Gallery in Ljubljana and the Tehnopark Celje.
