The Klangzeit festival is a wide-ranging, multidisciplinary project at the interface of sound art and contemporary music, which will focus on the interactions – the resonances – between human behaviour and nature as part of the 2024 summer edition under the motto ‘Green Sounds’. In view of the climate crisis, global warming and the urgency of new ways of acting, it is up to all of us to rethink our relationship with nature. The critical situation of the earth shows us that our understanding of humanity, but also of nature, must be redefined. Those who do not put themselves at the centre of attention live sustainably in respect for nature and take care to conserve natural resources. The invited artists present their works in the natural setting of southern Styria.
