For years, the International Summer Academy for Theatre Graz has been a small fixed star in the field of performing arts. This year, it once again invites you to take part in a varied programme. For over 36 years, the academy has been a magnet for theatre enthusiasts from all over Europe and offers workshops in acting, dance and singing.
A special feature of the Summer Academy is the cross-generational participation of people between the ages of 8 and 90, united by their passion for theatre. While most of the courses are aimed at participants aged 16 and over, there are special programmes for children that allow the youngest to get a taste of the stage and discover and develop their creative skills.
With over 30 courses, the Summer Academy offers the most diverse range of performing arts courses in the German-speaking world. It is therefore not surprising that a good third of the 300 participants from Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland are once again travelling to Graz for the academy this year.
