The theme of “diversity” in all its facets is at the centre of this year’s Kunstfesttage 2024. The artists have engaged intensively with the topic and thematized their personal concerns about “diversity” in unique works.
Exhibitions and events will take place at four locations:
On Friday, 19 July from 17:00, a parade with lively musical accompaniment by the Irrsdorfer Trio – starting with a champagne reception in the artforum gallery will lead through the exhibition in the Lehen church to the TriBühne Lehen, where an evening programme will be offered in the TriBühne Lehen at 19:00 for the vernissage. Exciting works by artists from artforum Salzburg and guest exhibitors from Haus ProVinzenz Liefering, a dance performance by the Special Olympics dance team and the live band “sweetspot soulpop” will ensure a good atmosphere.
The next highlight of the art festival will be the event in the Lehener church on Friday 26 July from 19:30 in an atmospheric setting with a string quartet from the Herbst family. The diversity of spirituality is thematized in the works of art exhibited there by artforum Salzburg.
On Saturday, 3 August at 15:00, artists and residents of the ProVinzenz Liefering house will be creating pouring pictures together. Visitors will also be able to view an exhibition on the theme.
To round off the event, the artists of the artforum invite visitors to the gallery on Saturday, 10 August at 11:00 a.m., where another special exhibition will be presented that also incorporates nature. The outdoor area, which has been awarded the “Nature in the Garden” plaque, including the museum’s own trees, will be “enchanted” with art objects by a textile artist.
