Sustainability, renewable energy sources, electromobility and smart grid technologies are just some of the buzzwords associated with hydropower. An exciting topic – also for visual artists. A high-calibre jury has selected the four prize winners from 85 submissions. In addition to these four works, eight other outstanding submissions will be shown in the summer exhibition. The occasion for a long overdue sixth competition was the 100th anniversary of Vorarlberger Illwerke, for which illwerke vkw AG commissioned Kunstforum Montafon to organise an artistic competition. On display are works by Sarah Bildstein, Matthias Guido Braudisch, Klemens Cervenka, Julia Dorninger, Othmar Eder, Marbod Fritsch, Mathias Garnitschnig, Swetlana Heger, Evamaria Müller, Edith Stauber, Martina Tscherni and Georg and Klara Vith.
