The Artists and Scientists in Residence Programme of OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH offers visual artists with a connection to Upper Austria the opportunity to step out of their everyday work for one to three months as part of a stay abroad.
Thrown back on themselves, new things can be discovered and experience can be gained through the change of perspective in order to orientate and further develop their artistic work internationally.
Conversely, it is also about opening up the view to the local public – engaging with art ‘as a window to the world’ and experiencing the results of the residencies in the OÖ AIR exhibition.
