In June, Schwarzenberg in the Ländle is once again the centre of the Schubertiade. Schubert, who knew how to reflect nature in all its beauty, but also its gloom and danger in his music in such a unique way, never travelled as far as Vorarlberg. The central venue of the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg is the Angelika Kauffmann Hall, which, thanks to its excellent acoustics, is one of the world’s best halls for chamber music and lieder and provides an unrivalled musical experience. Song recitals with Matthias Goerne, Patrick Grahl, Christiane Karg, Katharina Konradi, Konstantin Krimmel, Christoph Prégardien and Fatma Said, piano recitals with Leif Ove Andsnes, Bertrand Chamayou, David Fray, Marc-André Hamelin and Paul Lewis as well as chamber concerts with prominent ensembles such as the Belcea Quartet, Hagen Quartet, Mandelring Quartet, Quartetto di Cremona and with Gautier Capuçon, Guillaume Chilemme, Tobias Feldmann, Till Fellner, Victor Julien-Laferrière, Harriet Krijgh, Adrien la Marca, Sabine Meyer, Lauma Skride and many more on the programme.
In addition to the concerts in Schwarzenberg, the Schubertiade invites you to visit the numerous museums in Hohenems, which are dedicated to great interpreters of classical music, the important cultural history of Hohenems and old crafts.
