Scharf’s motifs reveal her love of aesthetics, and the Salzburg-born artist succeeds in capturing and visualising the fascination of nature through the lightness of watercolour painting and mixed media. Her latest works are done on canvas in watercolour, acrylic and mixed media. Her love of nature and aesthetics is also expressed in numerous floral motifs.
In the exhibition Diversity of Aesthetics at artforum, Scharf presents a cross-section of her work, collages of the city of Salzburg, as well as nudes in various techniques.
