The origins of the annual Pride Month in June date back to 1969.
June 1969 saw violent police attacks and street battles directed against queer and homosexual minorities.
To mark the occasion, the MAK is presenting posters from the LGBTQIA+ area to send a visible signal in favour of acceptance, tolerance and openness towards people of different sexual orientations and gender identitie.
