In an increasingly polarised society, dance acts as a unifying element and represents the ‘between the different points of view’. Its inherent flexibility invites us to broaden our perspectives and cultivate a higher tolerance for ambiguity in order to enter into a constructive exchange despite apparent incompatibilities.
In the 34th edition of PERFORMdANCE, Salzburg and international artists call for this very change of perspective every day. In addition to the varied performance programme, the FESTIVALLOUNGE creates a kind of resonance space to get closer to each other through conversation.
