It is the first solo museum exhibition by Berlin-based artist Esra Gülmen. The title I WAS I AM divides the exhibition – curated by Maria Venzl – into past and present and emphasizes the connection between the two time levels. In a space-filling setting consisting of interactive elements, the artist explores global challenges and reflects on the everyday paradoxes and complex interrelationships of human experience.
