Lori Lako, the Albanian artist, deals with one of the central themes of Poradeci’s poetry in her installation: nature and its creatures. Through the encounter of natural & artificial, real & fake, analogue & digital, temporary & permanent elements, the exhibition attempts to lead an open reflection on the state of contemporary nature. The sound design for the exhibition was created by Noah Rachdi.
The special issue of the EDITION LICHTUNGEN series, ICH HÖRE EINEN VOGEL KLAGEN (I HEAR A BIRD CLAIMING), with poems by the Albanian writer Lasgush Poradeci (1899-1987), will also be presented at the exhibition opening. Young Albanian poetry will also be presented.
