Rainer Prohaska – artist-in-residence from January to June 2024 – is moving into the Bildraum studio with the team from the “FUTURAMA LAB-Art & Science for Ecological Transformations”, which he founded.
FUTURAMA LAB’s productions focus on the following: the creation of systems for energy production in the form of aesthetic objects, experimentation with alternative forms of energy production and the thematisation of possible new forms of work in the context of changes in the economy and consumption. In addition, there is research into alternative and playful forms of mobility and transport as well as temporary, architectural interventions with a focus on renaturalised urban districts and the reuse and recycling of materials.
