Karrer’s designs have characterised the architectural landscape in Upper Austria for several decades. In the 1970s, he studied under Roland Rainer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and subsequently opened the Karrer architecture firm in Linz in 1973. He still works as an architect today and will finally retire from this position at the end of 2023. As a conclusion to this activity, the exhibition offers an overview of 50 years of building activity in and for Upper Austria. It will be accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue of this architectural work.
