Based on the travelling exhibition “What we demand! Minority movements in Austria” organised by the Minorities Initiative, the JUKUS association is adding a new perspective to these stories.
In a multimedia exhibition, representatives of minority groups tell their unique stories, demands and experiences. Videos, sound recordings and photographs make cultural diversity in Styria visible. Numerous Styrian people were interviewed on topics such as housing, living together, participation, cultural experience and many other issues that shape our everyday lives. The exhibition thus emphasises the importance of minority movements and promotes an open and sensitised society that celebrates and appreciates the diversity of its members.
