We live in turbulent times. There are wars in many countries around the world. Even the safe harbour of Europe has not been spared.
The Jewish Museum Vienna is putting peace at the centre of a new exhibition. Based on various concepts and definitions of peace, the exhibition explores the relationship between peace and Judaism, politics, war, feminism and justice. Jewish perspectives take centre stage. The exhibition aims to recall the civilisational achievement of peace and sees itself as a contribution to an insufficiently developed culture of peace. A broad range of educational programmes makes the complexity of the topic tangible and invites visitors to participate.
