Short films are an art form in themselves. They stand for unerring storytelling, originality and are often a creative playground for innovative ideas. With a record of over 2,000 submissions from all over the world, the Linz International Short Film Festival has become a flagship event for Linz as a UNESCO City of Media Arts.
This year the two festival founders Parisa Ghasemi and Ashkan Nematian are once again presenting a total of 79 films from 43 countries to an international audience.
