10 years Street Art Festival in Vienna!
“DIEZ – Years of Transformation” ist the motto of the Calle Libre Festival 2023. In keeping with the anniversary, the festival will extend over 10 days for the first time! 10 artists from all over the world give color to the 16th district and process their own view of social, economic and ecological transformation. 10 walls in the Ottakring district will be painted by artists who are artistically dedicated to the topic of transformation.
Participating artists: APHENOAH, Daniel Melim, Frau Isa, Gera1, Gleo, Guillem Font, Käthe Loeffelmann, Ledania, Luogo Comune, and Yessiow.
A Music Festival will also take place in the Ottakringer Brewery from August 4th to 5th: With Fourty, Liz, Gola Gianni, Kitana, Donna Savage, Big J, Nissa, Kidkut, Vittoria PS, Einmusik, Xique-Xique, Kollektiv Sheesh & Nugi, Philosofiesta, Matahari, Yansen, Tomagan, Oliver Bauer, Epicuro, Louisa India and Tony V.
Even before the official start of the festival, one of the largest walls that Vienna has to offer will be transformed into a colorful work of art: on one of the 50 m high outer walls of UNO City, an artist will present his/her interpretation of one of the 17 Sustainable development goals.
