The exhibition shows objects, collages and two- and three-dimensional works made of paper by the German artist Eva Maria Juras.
Juras dismantles and cuts up books, writings and documents. When putting them back together again, she alienates and redesigns the original objects and places them in a new context.
The cut edges show patterns and structures due to the printer’s ink, which penetrates fractions of a millimeter into the paper during printing. The cutting tool gives them additional hatching.
