Digital art as the result of a dialogue between man and machine.
The Austrian artist LIA is considered one of the pioneers in the fields of software and net art. In a code-based dialogue with computers, multimedia works are created in real time. A translation process takes place between artist and machine. LIA refers to these forms of cooperation with machines as conversation. Her works combine the traditions of drawing and painting with the aesthetics of digital images and algorithms.
