Szene Open Air Lustenau: From Folkshilfe to Mavi Phoenix.
Ever since it was founded, the Scene Open Air in Lustenau has lived on its unique mix of cross-genre music program, the campiste and festival grounds on the Old Rhine and the numerous volunteers who give the festival its special spirit.
This year the line-up includes the harmonica-synthi-pop formation Folkshilfe, the Austrian beatbox-pop duo Wiener Blond or the Amadeus FM4 Award winner Mavi Phoenix. With the Scene Open Air, the cultural and youth association Scene Lustenau has set itself the goal of offering a stage not only to internationally known headliners but also to the independent music scene in Vorarlberg. This mixture of internationality and regionality gives the festival a special flair. Because while headliners like Folkshilfe are on stage, the groupies of a local Vorarlberg band might be hanging out somewhere with the musicians on the festival grounds.
