A “School of Seeing” for young artists.
The Salzburg International Summer Academy goes back to an idea by Oskar Kokoschka. Founded in 1953 by Oskar Kokoschka as the “School of Seeing” at Hohensalzburg Fortress, it is the oldest of its kind in Europe.
The participants can expect intensive workshops on current issues of art production with outstanding artists from all over the world.
The lecturers and leaders of the master classes cover a broad artistic spectrum. Munem Wasif runs an editing course. Christina Dimitriadis deals with living environment and self-awareness. Léuli Eshrāghi deals with the poetry of movement.
