History rewritten and reinvented!
Palestinian artist Khalil Rabah’s work addresses issues of identity, displacement and politics. In doing so, he applies his sense of forward thinking and wit.
One example of this is the Riwaq Biennial, an institution he created to protect and promote Palestinian cultural heritage in various cities for the duration of a year.
Drawing on his background in architecture, his art practice aims to create an alternative vision that challenges public perception and expectations.
Khalil Rabah, who has long produced artworks that also address the issue of migration, will present a major new installation in the Great Hall, as well as a presentation of video works in the Cabinet.
