The BRUSEUM presents the first international retrospective of the Romanian-born artist Paul Neagu.
Neagu was a universal artist who engaged in sculptural, performative and drawing works in interrelated presentations.
Exploring the vocabulary of sculpture, Neagu arrived at his most signature invention, the hypha, after the mid-1970s. It is a structure that, despite its apparent simplicity, is based on multi-layered considerations of the formal and symbolic meanings of basic geometric forms.
