When the first buds sprout in spring, the poetry of dance also awakens in Bregenz.
The moving dance performances are carried by energy and excitement, but also by sensuality and emotional depth. Classical ballet meets new potential. Circus arts, contemporary dance and hip-hop combine to rousing effect. Experimental space radically redefines modern dance.
Five world-class companies from the USA, Great Britain, Belgium and France take the audience into the diverse and breathtaking world of dance with expressive performances. The performances at the Bregenz Festspielhaus – including two Austrian premieres – offer a mix of different movement languages and dance styles.
